The Marriage Encounter
Marriage Encounter is a “working” retreat for married couples, an intense marriage workshop of marriage enrichment, to deepen your communication with each other. It is an opportunity to spend a whole weekend together away from the responsibilities and distractions of everyday life, and to concentrate on each other as a couple. It’s not a group-oriented experience, but a unique approach aimed at revitalizing marriage. The couples who lead the experience share examples from their own marriage, so you might be able to relate, and learn ways to strengthen your own marriage. The leaders speak from a Christian perspective, but have respect for your own faith tradition. Even couples who are not religious tend to find the weekend experience helpful.
This is a time for you and your spouse to be alone together, to rediscover each other, and to focus on your relationship together for an entire weekend. Every marriage deserves that kind of attention! Rediscover the spark that you enjoyed on your wedding day! Rediscover the best friend you had when you were first married! Join the millions of couples worldwide who have learned how to keep their marriage vibrant and alive!
Marriage Encounter weekends have been appreciated by newly-weds, as well as couples married 50 years or more! So it’s really for any couple who want to strengthen their marriage relationship, whether it’s a good marriage or one that is seeking some help.
